Children’s Center & KidSpace

Members and guests may use the Children’s Center and KidSpace. Our staff is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and welcoming play space for everyone. We select activities that are engaging and developmentally age-appropriate. Plus every staff member is certified in CPR and first aid. Drop by and tour our facilities. Your kids will love it!

Children’s Center (for Ages 6 Weeks - 5 Years Old)

The Children’s Center features an infant room, toddler room, crafts area, large playroom, and an outdoor play area with a sandbox. Examples of daily activities include reading circle, arts & crafts, and unstructured play.

Hours

• Weekdays: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Weekends: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Cost

• For members with a reservation: $6 per hour per child
• For members without a reservation: $8 per hour per child
• For guests: $8 per hour per child

Reservations

Reservations are highly recommended. Call 858.509.3111. We take reservations up to 7 days in advance. The maximum stay is 2 hours per reservation.

Cancellations and Drop-Ins

Everyone is welcome in the Children’s Center, even if your visit is unplanned. Just give us 30 minutes notice to save on the additional $2 drop-in fee. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, call us so that we may adjust your child’s start time. And if you need to cancel, we require 24 hours notice before your scheduled appointment time -- so that we may offer your space to another child.

If notification is received with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for half of your reserved time. If you do not make any attempt to cancel your reservation, you will be charged for the full rate of your reserved time. If you wish to change your reservation time without 24 hours’ notice, you will be required to keep the same amount of time as your original reservation.

What to Bring

• Diapers (one diaper for every hour of reserved time)
• Wipes
• Extra set of clothes
• Plastic bottles and containers only
• Snacks (see below) *Please label all items. Only labeled items will be used or fed to a child.

Snacks

Our scheduled snack time is at 9:45 am every morning. After that we will distribute a snack when the child requests it. Please bring simple snacks, such as pretzels, dry cereal, string cheese, or crackers. We ask that all snacks and cups are labeled with your child’s name.

*Because of the severity of peanut and other nut allergies, food containing any nut products, nut oil, or nut butter are not permitted in the Children’s Center.

Health Guidelines

For the well-being of our children and staff, it is imperative that your child is free from any contagious infections when entering the Children’s Center. We reserve the right to send any child home if they have contagious symptoms. If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be notified to pick him/her up immediately. Please administer any medications at home, as our staff is not authorized to do so.

KidSpace (for Ages 6 - 12)

This supervised area will become your child’s favorite hangout! It’s equipped with a game studio, craft area, and television lounge with Nintendo and PlayStation. Kids enjoy physical, educational, and social activities while making new friends and having fun. KidSpace is free for children who are listed on their parents’ membership. For children not included on their parents’ membership, the prevailing guest fee for children applies.
